Audit Observation Follow-Up Checklist ( AUDIT )

This checklist is designed to ensure that all observations made during an audit are systematically followed up on and addressed. It helps in tracking the status of each observation and ensures that appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner.

• Review Audit Observations

  Go through the list of all observations noted during the audit to ensure a thorough understanding of each point.

• Assign Responsibility

  Designate team members responsible for addressing each specific observation and set deadlines for follow-up actions.

• Develop Action Plans

  Create detailed action plans for each observation, outlining the steps needed to resolve the issues identified.

• Implement Actions

  Ensure that the assigned team members implement the action plans within the designated deadlines.

• Collect Evidence of Resolution

  Gather documentation and evidence that show how each observation has been addressed and resolved.

• Review Follow-Up Outcomes

  Conduct a review meeting to discuss the outcomes of the actions taken and assess their effectiveness in resolving the observations.

• Document Follow-Up Results

  Record the results of the follow-up actions and any further recommendations in a formal report.

• Communicate with Stakeholders

  Provide feedback to stakeholders on the status of the audit observations and the actions taken to resolve them.

• Close Out Observations

  Once all actions have been completed and documented, officially close out each observation in the audit records.
