Facility Access Control Review ( ADMIN )

This checklist ensures that the facility access control measures are properly reviewed and updated to maintain safety and security standards within the organization.

• Review Access Authorization

  Check the current access authorizations for all employees and contractors to ensure they are still valid and necessary.

• Update Access Control List

  Make any updates to the access control list based on the review, removing access for those who no longer require it and adding access for new employees.

• Inspect Physical Access Points

  Conduct an inspection of all physical access points (doors, gates, etc.) to ensure they are secure and functioning correctly.

• Test Access Control Systems

  Perform a test of the access control systems (key cards, biometric scanners, etc.) to ensure they are operational.

• Document Changes and Findings

  Record any changes made during the review process and any findings related to security vulnerabilities.

• Schedule Next Review

  Set a date for the next facility access control review to ensure ongoing compliance and security.
