Tutor Learning Outcomes Assessment Checklist ( TUTOR )

This checklist is designed to help tutors systematically assess and document the learning outcomes of their students. It ensures that each student’s progress is evaluated against specific learning objectives, helping to enhance the overall tutoring process.

• Define Learning Outcomes

  List the specific learning outcomes for the tutoring session based on the curriculum and student needs.

• Develop Assessment Criteria

  Create clear criteria for measuring whether each learning outcome has been achieved by the student.

• Conduct Assessment

  Administer assessments to students to evaluate their understanding of the material and achievement of learning outcomes.

• Document Results

  Record the results of the assessments and note any areas where the student excelled or struggled.

• Review with Student

  Schedule a session with the student to go over the assessment results and discuss their understanding of the material.
