• Develop Additional Mitigation Plans

  For any identified risks lacking adequate mitigation strategies, develop new plans to address these risks.

• Assign Responsibility for Mitigation

  Determine who in the audit team or organization is responsible for implementing each mitigation strategy.

• Monitor Mitigation Effectiveness

  Set up a system to regularly monitor the effectiveness of all risk mitigation strategies throughout the audit process.

• Document Findings

  Keep a detailed record of all identified risks, mitigation strategies, responsibilities, and monitoring outcomes for future reference.
