Staff Leave Application Process ( ADMIN )

This checklist outlines the steps to follow for staff members to apply for leave, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are adhered to.

• Submit Leave Application

  The employee must fill out and submit the leave application form to their immediate supervisor.

• Supervisor Review

  The supervisor reviews the application for validity and checks the employee's leave balance.

• Decision on Leave

  The supervisor makes a decision to approve or deny the leave request and communicates this to the employee.

• HR Notification

  If approved, the supervisor notifies the HR department to update the leave records.

• Update Leave Records

  HR updates the employee's leave balance and records the leave in the system.

• Notify Payroll

  If necessary, HR informs the payroll department about any unpaid leave days.
